Watercolor paper should be 300gsm/140lbs (pad). Cold press is more absorbent and is stronger. Suggested brands for watercolor paper are Strathmore and Fabriano.

Amanda de Ocampo has an undergraduate degree in multimedia arts from De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, and a certificate in illustration on continuing education from Parsons The New School of Design, New York City. During her education at Parsons, she had a six-month internship at StyleCaster.com to assist with digital online marketing and be exposed to online publishing.
After two years in New York City, Amanda worked in the Philippine magazine publishing industry as the junior art director at One Mega Group Inc. Since 2014, after leaving the corporate world, she has ventured into the art industry and joined many art fairs and group art shows around Metro Manila. This is where she discovered her passion in painting artistic movements and expressionism while using different mediums, such as watercolor and acrylic. She has collaborated with several brands such as SM Hotel and Resorts, Tantease, Wild Poppy, ArtPostAsia Publishing, Caffe Freddo, and The Blue Kitchen.
